Yeah , that freeagent was well smart , 1984 is my favourite year for freestyle bikes and the freeagent is one of them .

Purchased by myself from Alpine Action- Notting Hill Gate in December 1984. The frame and forks at the time were "ALLEGEDLY" pre production due to the fact that the top tube is 1 1/2 inches longer behind the seat tube than the standard production version.
The frame and forks were originally chrome plated but with nickel blows (golding) around the top tube and seat tube as well as along the seat and chain stays, as I said pre production . The reason that I came by owning this bike was due to the fact that my friend James had one on hold from Alpine Action for his birthday in December. When he picked it up my eyes nearly poped out and I knew I had to own one.

The bike has no seriel no, campy dropouts and an extended top tupe with frame stands that are further back. Alpine Action had the frame in a stock a couple of months before the purchase so I guess it was made around Aug/Sep 84.

Inspired me to go and build a show stopper for next year.

Campy drop outs refers to the early type that was stamped and cut by Campagnolo for VDC. I think that the later framsets had a totally different style of drop out made in house.
