10mm / 14mm slotted axles
« on: August 10, 2013, 10:12 PM »
Has anyone ever run 10mm / 14mm slotted axles in a 14mm dropout? I know they run pretty sweet in a 10mm dropout as you have the snug fit of a 10mm dropout with the added strength of the 14mm axle . But what about in a 14mm dropout? Obviously with it not being as snug is there a big risk of threading / damaging the axle if it was to say turn?

Okay cool, were you running the axle flat on the slots or up on the 14mm side?
