GIANT BMX CIRCA '83

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY PICS OF ANY EARLY GIANTS.... I HAVE A FRAME THAT I HAVE ALMOST FINISHED BUILDING WITH NOS CIRCA 83 PARTS (ALL PINK!).... BUT HAVE NO CLUE WHAT AN EARLY GIANT LOOKED LIKE AS THEY ARE ALMOST UNTRACABLE ON THE NET!!

ANYTHING WOULD BE REALLY HANDY, CHEERS GUYS.

I know what they were like but don't have any pics  :(  Don't think they did one in pink but hey, they did sponsor the Deutch Telecom and Once road teams in pink  :LolLolLolLol:  The one's we had in the shop were black f&F with gold or red parts or chrome with blue or gold or red parts.

The early ones (81-86) were generally well spec'd, later they started to bring out drivel!

Man, that is almost the same as the bike I had to test from Apline Sports all those years ago, top bike  :daumenhoch:

As an aside, the Schwinn Predator that I have still has a factory inspection sticker on the rear drop out and it says "Factory Giant Approved" or something along those lines. Maybe they were all produced in the same Taiwanese factory!!

This is one that I picked up a few months ago, it is totally standard from what I have researched and the hubs are dated 82.

BLOODY HELL THE SERIAL NUMBER ON MINE G0683!!
THING IS, IT LOOKS LIKE YOURS, BUT HAS A TRIANGULAR CUTOUT IN THE REAR DROP OUT AND HAS NO GUSSET..... MUST BE THE NEXT MODEL... THE 83 VERSION... VERY INTERESTING!!
I HAVE AN EBAY LINK EARLY ON IN THIS THREAD, BUT WILL POST THE FINISHED BIKE ON THE MUSEUM..
