Brake lever question
« on: July 31, 2013, 04:49 PM »
I was hoping to get some help with a brake lever.

I am looking for one of these...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/120817746697?var=420071993041&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

Left hand in black...

I am aware that this is not an original 80's DiaCompe, but is it still legit DiaCompe? It looks a lot better than some of the other crappy looking 'MX style' levers on the bay.

If it is legit am I missing out anything (except original authenticity) from purchasing one of these rather than a date stamped 80's one?

Do they come up for sale on here (old or modern) because black left hand levers seem to be out of stock every where?

Thanks in advance.  :)

Lol, took a while for me to catch on there...  :LolLolLolLol:

I have found this with other collecting scenes from the good old days, its just to easy to reproduce dodgy knock-offs today.  :'(
