This looks excellent. A complete layout change from how it's been the last year or so. I may be sticking the Haro Pro XL, helmet and pads in the car next week for an after work leisurely spin...

(Adopts posh female computer voice) Recalculating....Recalculating....OK, I am officially a doughnut. Just spent half an hour at the old Chandlers Ford, Freespace track which has not been altered, improved, resurfaced in anyway whatsoever I assumed that it was this Knightwood track until I got there of course. No excuse really seeing as I posted the damn link to the website above. Should have checked the postcode really haha!So where the hell is this place As you can tell I'm not really local. Too much Sussex blood in me.Had about 10 goes around the track anyway, got all knackered, hot sweaty and wobbly. Realised I am still old, slow and without any bottle
What sort of state was the Freespace track in? Haven't been there for a while.....
I have only just seen this.Knightwood BMX club is my local track, we have gate practise every Saturday morning between 10 and 1pm, £2 for members and £3 for non members. The club also has coaching sessions run by Denham and Tom from DC Cylces in Southampton. Hopefully the club should have a web site up and running in the next few weeks. The main man behind getting the track built was UK No1 and only person I know of to win the European championship racing on Skyway Tuff wheels, Anthony Howells I have just bought a new school cruiser to ride there with my 5 year old son but I'm also planing to ride some of my mid/old school race bikes over there.Would any of you guys be up for displaying some of your old school bikes at 1 of the races or events in the spring, would be great for the younger riders and their Dad's to see.Colin Chivers
