PRICE ADVICE please
« on: July 31, 2013, 01:02 AM »
not built anything for ages or even looked for bits, but been starting to get the itch lately
still on a 3 bike limit and will need to raise some fundage, so would appreciate any price advice on the following if I decide to go for it

85 haro master F&F with standers and a chrome beartrap headset, no dents and usual minor build marks - although some bloke called Bob did scrawl his name on it last year in Cologne   ::)
haro master bars - think they are 87? not quite as tall as the 85/86 in chrome in what I would say are very decent rider condition (some 'swirling' visible)
haro whitewalls - used but plenty of tread left
redline twin pinchers - used but minty

Not ready to do a for sale thread yet as I need to disassemble/take pics etc but appreciate any help from those of you with your fingers on the pulse  :D

muchas gracias amigos

Didn't you tell me how much they're worth...??!!

Give the F+F to me & I'll give you a mad futuristic device called a calculator watch. You can actually do basic maths whilst staring at the time.

John, take no notice of the babbling fool Rich Dev :2funny:

Your master is veeeerrrrrry nice mate and it has the correct forks so it should be worth a few quid for sure. I haven't sold much recently so not got my finger on the pulse but I'd argue you'll have to keep an eye on ebay etc at the moment to see. Not much help but like I said, the frameset is desirable for sure :smitten:

Is it a USA frameset or a Far East built one by the way, as I believe that usually has an effect on the value ???
Still limping......

I was given a suggestion on the F&F Rich as you know, but was a bit taken aback to be honest
Thought it might be worth asking publicly for fear of being branded a greedy bastard if I put it up for that much  :LolLolLolLol:

The only thing I've seen lately on ebay was an 85 master with brake lugs welded onto it, no standers or headset and came with some z-rim wheels
That went for £520 on ebay

It's a Far East one Spen (by 85 they were all built over there)

It's Haro John............worthless piece of crap  ;)

In all fairness, it's a cracking bike mate and also signed by the god father of freestyle.  you'll kick yourself for letting it go but i understand selling if that's what you do  :daumenhoch:

Have a word with Jay or Dom as they'll know it's value i guess  ???

Hard to put a price on the Bobsters signature ??? But a nice chrome Master 85 would fetch £450 - £550 I reckon ;)

The US market seems stronger for 85-86 freestylers, so put it on the BMX muso for best results or US ebay.

Right off to work, my good deed for the day done.

Oh, the fork standers alone will fetch a £100, as most 85's I've seen are missing um!

But make sure that  rwrightway2009  :Aresehole: doesn't buy it if it ends up on the Bay as he likes his Haros.

That's what I told him but he has a mild learning disability so he finds it difficult to process information.
