Dyno slammer bashy question
« on: July 17, 2013, 09:35 PM »
Been offered said frame going pretty cheap but it looks to have welded pegs just in front of the rear drop slots. The tubing looks to be about 20mm diameter (more than the chainstays but less than the top tube) and i cant seem to find another with these pegs.
Home job do we recon or have i just not looked hard enough?  :-\
Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

if it is indeed a 1990 standard slammer, and to me it looks like one, and if this guy's (ghost spidah) account of all variations of 1990 slammer is comprehensive ....

....then i think that should be a home weld job -- as he says nothing about a version with welded on pegs

Cheers  :daumenhoch:

I did look at that but it never harms to ask. My first thought was a home weld job but the diameter of the pegs made me think it may be factory. All my memories of pegs in the 90's were scaff style chunky ones  :)
