The guy has obviously been a scum bag for a long time. It takes a special kind of bullshitter to tell such ridiculous stories to a national paper, and go to such extreme lengths to rip people off. The guy is no doubt a psychopath. I hope he gets whats coming to him.

I paid for the bolts from him last night and gave the sydney opera house as the shipping address
this morning he has sent me a refund and called me a scammer

I sent him a message saying i paid fair and square and it was up to me were they get sent so what is the problem

I can leave him negative feedback after 7 days..

Its never been about the money side it's the principal of the matter, this guy is a Thief and a scammer and he should be brought to light for all potential buyers and the BMX communities etc to see this guy for what he really is, and if they still want to deal with a guy like this then be it on there head.
What he did was totally out of order and was the LOW OF THE LOW and it needs to be dealt with and not get swept under the carpet for it do be done again to future unsuspecting sellers.

Really p1sses me when people do stuff like this. You're a better man than I, I'd be opening new ebay acounts everyday with names like fuRalf etc and bidding 1,000,000 dollars on every item he ever lists, I'd also take his email address and phone number and be adding it in every internet mailing list I could find, he would get the message.

Thanks mate, I have bit my lip and sat on my hands with this one and being an ex forces and a body guard I take no shit off anybody, now if he was in this country it would have been a different matter

But seeing as he is half way around the world hiding behind his computer he is safe for now but his time will come

I'm working on EBay, the thread has just been locked on OZ BMX forum, man what a tool that Ralph Merhi really is as he has been threatening the members on there via PMs and through EBay
