1982 BH California from Halfords.

Bought a lovely survivor (all original, even the tyres) from the bay last year for fifty quid thanks to our Winny.

Still a heavy PoS but brought me out in goosebumps the first time I rode it again.

Second was a Silver and Blue Raleigh Ultra Burner. My stupid fook of a mother gave it away to one of my cousins when I left home to go to Uni.

Third was a DP Freestyler in chrome with green zeds swapped for an eighth of resin when I was at Uni (1990); can't believe I left it in the cellar of a house we moved out of.

2nd hand Motomag in 79, first new BMX was a Super Burner, Christmas 1982. My folks kept it in the study as they bought it about 4 weeks before Christmas, I kept sneaking a look - those four weeks were agony

I still feel that excitement when I look at my BMX to this day...

my thing was red white and blue ..... (the white of it was actually painted yellow tuff IIs that i traded for the original red anno rims
