For what Neil? Bearings/BB's etc or anti-sieze stuff for 3-pieces etc?

I use any bog-standard teflon based grease for HS's, and car-lube copper anti-sieze for crankies spindle/peds  :daumenhoch:

And truestory - NEVER use butter for wheel bearings if you've not got any grease, mate of mine did it in the late 80's and was still picking grit out of his face for weeks later  :LolLolLolLol:

To be honest you can shell out a crap load for branded teflon grease, when you don;t need to (it's not like you're gonna be spinning the bearings at 80mph for hours on end), so just pop down your local car DIY centre and buy a £5 tub there.

Or get this:

Dont use silicon grease......I found some and used it to lube my DX bearings as it said it was safe for food use on the side (so I figured if you can eat it then its good enough for the old DX's...!?!?).....anyway when it got warm outside all the grease melted and goop leaked everywhere - nob.

Just get a tub of cheap stuff from BandQ or somewhere..
