1st Potts Mod
« on: June 29, 2013, 02:14 PM »
Just done a potts mod for a fellow radster
Took me an hour to surgically remove the quick release lever
one thing i didn't know was that the hole it came out of is oval so fits the adjuster perfect
(adjuster will be on the inside when fitted to a bike so cable lines up with the pinch bolt)
Lastly i opened up the top hole a little to accept a new pinch bolt

If it hits the down tube, space the pads out with washers thus lowering the top part of the caliper  :daumenhoch:

Lee,

Think you'll need to put the weinmann adjuster on the other way round mate so that the exposed cable lines up vertically & straight in to the top pinch bolt. :daumenhoch:

In fact you'll need to turn the top pinch bolt the other way around as well.
