So i'm putting back together a set of DX.  got all the bearings here and there are 2 different sizes.  which size go where?  larger ones nearer the pedal boss or the end cap end?  ???

Don't think I've ever seen em with two different sizes of bearings? Then again not done loads of em, think the one's I've done were 4mm bearings either side.

At a guess I'd say bigger bearings near the crank arm, small at the end cap end? Edit - check a bearing next to the runner groove on the spindle/bolt - you should be able to see in profile which size bearing will fit where :)

I built these before and got it the wrong way around as they just didnt fit right .. but forgot which way around that was.  Just trying to get a heads up so i dont have to strip them down again  :P

I just built a set of DX up yesterday and the bearings were all the same size (11 in each end 22 total per pedal) ...not sure whats going on with yours?!  :-\

There's a thread on here were Pickle says he's got a pair with different size bearings, and think the big un's go on the cap end?

I have a set of survivors on the way, should be here Wednesday so i'll check them ;)
