Author Topic: ANOTHER VERT-EGO FIASCO (Read 2554 times)

Bought some 1985 haro Master pads for £78 off of Vert Ego website 9 days ago 18th June & not heard a dicky Bird from them in relation to delivery.

He must have had it in stock as it was also on their ebay store for £129.99 at the same time .

Anyway I didn't receive a single email call or anything else from them, so today after sending 3 emails to him i filed an item not received claim, Biaggio sent my money back which is fair enough but not ideal as i wanted my pads (& have now missed out on another set) Along with my refund there was a short message saying

"Thanks and sorry this didnt work out. In future please email me first to check that is working then make enquiry about the item and check I have it... Thanks and apologies for inconvenience B "

Whatever that was supposed to mean

So basically he's been sitting on my cash for nearly 10 days, the item is still showing for sale on his web site too.

This is the 3rd time I've had issues with this idiot I've said it before but this time i really wont be buying from him again. he's had too many chances.

i guess he's just too busy. ..or lazy.

Wish i could catch a glimpse of his stack.

an apology is on thing but it shouldn't have taken nearly 10 days for him to contact me & it shouldn't have taken a file to be claimed against him to do so.

He's ignored my emails & could clearly see that had had been paid for an item who the payment was from & what it was for .

He also has my number & could have called to let me know. if he hasn't got the goods he should also amend his website, i'm guessing he has got them but prefers to sell on the bay for more money (this is the second time he's done this to me alone) last time it was a chain ring.

yeh, ur right. The few times i dealt with him he sent me wrong stuff, i sen it back ... in the end all was alright tho. So that makes me think he's got many things going on at the same time.
So he's a shmuck ---- but he got all the good stuff, so give him one moe chance .... and be nice to him

Na, i tried that, I'd rather do without than deal with him again ... I don't seem to be having much luck buying or selling lately.... Ah well tomorrows another day & all that

i don't think so

. think he came to a few gatherings tho. One time he sold some ... what was that ... unstamped landing gear .... and peeps were pissed that he came too early or summat so they didn't get any.

I had one problem a few years ago, grips not turning up had to file a claim

he sent the grips, some free alloy value caps & he apologised in person when I saw him at VW show

A similar thing happened to me when i ordered an item directly off his website. Heard nothing after placing and paying for my order. There never seems to be a problem when ordering via ebay, although the prices are higher

i remember him selling haro masters for £125 ,mx 1000s sets for £25 and i bought a areo reflex new in the box £30 posted so hes not all bad

Many moons ago I phoned him up to enquire about buying a set of MX1000 he had for sale. He refused to sell them to me because, according to him - I couldn't afford it!?!?

I have no idea how he made that assumption but he wouldn't even tell me the cost. Needless to say I haven't dealt with him since..weird.
