as jaymz says look polished alloy to me , best bet get a knife and see if the chrome scrapes off , do it in a few different places  :2funny:  :LolLolLolLol:

not chrome, the polish up with autosol like bare alloy does. just done mine

If you stick em out in the garden for a week - if they go orange rust they're chrome, grey dusty rust then it's alloy. No help whatsoever there though  :LolLolLolLol:

Clear anno  ;) Just stripped some levers 2 day the same. Also have a NOS caliper like that and a chrome 1 2 compare  ::)

i would say silver even properly stored ones would have probably started pitting a little by now  :-\

I reckon those are silver.  I just got a set that looked like that and although they cleaned up nice they didnt bling. Turned a cloth with Autosol black....

if it was chrome it would have a mirror finish,   if they are original then deffo clear ano...     ;)
