Getting hold of Retrospect
« on: June 26, 2013, 01:50 PM »
Tried to order some parts from Retrospect last week but haven't heard anything back yet. Is he away or is it better to get hold of him via ebay?

Cheers  :daumenhoch:

Failing the phone, eBay is always the best way to get hold of Mark.

I'm guessing he's gone away as he has no listings on the Bay right now. :daumenhoch:

I emailed him last week too to order some parts & no reply. I reckon he's on holiday which is fair enough. At least Mark doesn't take your money & keep you waiting !

I had to buy something from ( a different website) last week & surprise surprise 8 days later & still no product no correspondence what so ever not even an email to say it's been posted not posted lost in the post chewed up by the dog (nothing)...

I hope his old school part supplies dry up soon, but i'm guessing i'll get a message saying they no longer have the part (especially is it's on their ebay store for twice the price) I assume appealing to that Australian market that the seem to love. No Names necessary you all know who it is. Mr (WTF is customer service) ??? I'll send everything out 2nd class whenever I feel like it.

Yes, give him a call. I ordered an item off the website but heard nothing back. Phoned him, and he openly said that he doesn't keep on top of his emails. A tad annoying, but at least i now know. Nice bloke though when you talk to hin on the phone. The pedals i ordered from him arrived quickly and were exactly as described

Agreed Ant, I think he's helped me out with every build I've done. Next day delivery on decals more often than not. :4_17_5:

Callum - Mark isn't far from you and as everyone says, is a top bloke when you meet him. He used to have my early builds up on his site before I found Rad and even told me about this site, so he's been at it a long time.

Give him a call and it will get sorted. It's worth a visit to his place if you need a lot of stuff but he can be a tad expensive to begin with. Shouldn't be a problem for a master hagglee like yourself of course though..... :2funny:

Totally agree. Re-listing products form a sun lounger drinking a cold beer sounds like a good idea to me.  8)
