Brake spring locators on MX1000

Does anybody know how the spring locator on MX1000 brakes can be removed. I have a feeling that this is just pressed on but only have an NOS caliper which I dont really want to take the hammer too  :lol:

they are just pressed in.should come out pretty easy.
