1976 LRV Moxie Monoshock
« on: June 19, 2013, 10:14 PM »
So my first bike on radbmx 3.0 and man this has been one seriously fun and exhausting build.

I have been after a nice monoshock for a while and stumbled upon this original paint LRV Moxie (the gutsy one).

Come on you know you were wondering where those bloody Matthews girder forks went after I took them off of the R&R.  ;)

I have to say I absolutely love this bike and there are some small touches that I love.

The wheels are great and chunky, NOS Wang Ton 2.125 moped rims with Sachs hubs, laced with 12g heavy duty spokes, but with my out of the box touch Huret wing nuts on the front hub axles.

As I mentioned the paint is the original stuff, it is not NOS but damn bloody close.

Great build, loving the rims and grips  :daumenhoch:
Sixteen thirty-two. What is that? A year?   No, it's your top score on Pole Position.

Looks like the frame has been well looked after. Cool looking bike.

Can you actually feel the flex of the shocker when you sit on it?
