Went on a bit of a lads day out with our kid Dan and cousin Oli a few weeks back to the stunning abersoch.
Bmx and lashings of ginger beer

Abersoch harbour

We found these little beach huts, a couple were open and would be a great place to doss down for a beer and bbq night

Into the village for essential supplies

Then off down the beach heading the the cliff at the other end of the bay

Dispite the images it was pretty hot and sunny for most of the day, i was glad i had gone freestyle.

Thought about an endo on this plinth thing, the skyway pads were having non of it

The cliff we were heading for

A quick detour through the stunning holiday park we spent many a summer at

Up the cliff to investigate the quarry ruins

Nearly there, we were fooked at this stage and in no state to be riding a foot or two from a sheer drop

Oli doing some sort of youth thing

Further on there is what looks like some sort of fortress but apparently it was just a store for stone chippings

We clock the tide coming in a beat a hasty retreat back to the harbour

At the harbour mouth it's obvious we are going to get wet, the other two manage to stay pretty dry but the inlet i chose to ride through was a little deeper.... 5 inches above the bottom bracket

Time for a late lunch

A last look back on the days ride

We call into Criccieth on the way home and given a fine Welsh send off

Cheers guys, was a fookin ace day out.

Planning to go back in a few months, bombing in and out of the surf bums and there vdubs

The next time the decade got a ride out was radchester yesterday, proper surprised it would even move with all the salt water it went through

Looks a top day out from back in the old day style

go some where not meant for riding on a bmx
if it's bloody cold ~ get a ice-cream
if yer can get yer shoes or trousers wet or both - then even better
take pictures doing strange poses
do the opposite of what a sign says

just sounds like back in the day

Yeah the poor thing get treated like most of my bikes back in the day.... postmans skid outside the paper shop then dropped on the deck while i go in for a mr slushy and a 10p mix
