Here is my summer rider,I collected it from the rad shop yesterday.I got the frame,forks,bars,stem and a few other bits from Steve Costa in an unbelievable deal a while ago.I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do with it but it was such a good deal I thought I would take it and decide later,tbh I just really liked the colour!Anyway after trying to sell it to no avail I decided to build it as I need a rider.I tried to source as many of the bits cheap off ebay,but it is hard when you are unfamiliar with new school.I did get a couple of bargains on the brakes and the rear wheel but also ended up buying a couple of bits which were no use.I got the seat cheap(£8) as it matched the frame graphics and that kinda determined the colour scheme to a degree.I decided in the end to do the right thing and take it to the rad shop for advice on the rest of the bits!Stodgy did me a fantastic deal on the rest of the parts I needed.I did however place an order with Flat Squirrell for grips and tyres.I paid and a few days later was told the order had been shipped.3 weeks later it has still not turned up and the website has been 'down for maintenance'.It turns out they have gone out of business
I paid via paypal so no probs luckily and got Stodgy to order me alternatives.It was hard to envision what it was going to look like but I am stoked with finished article-It rides SOOO smooth,is light as hell and the brakes are the best I have ever had.Big thanks to the boys at the rad shop.
