« on: September 05, 2005, 10:57 PM »
To install the retaining bolt on 400 series cranks, do I need a special tool or get a 15mm socket shaved down??

I can't get a spanner or my 3/8th drive socket on!

Thanks

Paul

Went to Halfords to get a 15mm socket. They didn't have any special tools in the "Bike Hut"!!

Thanks anyway.

I got my socket from the car dept its not a special tool just a slimmer version of the socket you are probably using, any tool shop should have one
