I'm looking at some Araya S7 listed as 20 X 1/34 which i think means 1 3/4 or maybe 1 1/34. Is anyone familiar with these rims are these ok for 1.75 tyres?

I see what ones you mean, and I would have thought that it should be 1 3/4 but I`m not sure.

i got a pair of them hoops, they are thinner than 1 3/8. i will make a foto after my tea.

is 1 3/4 not 1.75. 1 whole is made up of 4 quarters. 100 divide by 4 is 25, 25 x 3 is 75. hence 3/4. or am i talking sh%t!!

on second thoughts they might be different again
you can see them on thier own or with some 1 3/8's . there is some writing under the sticker but i aint pulling em off.

Yeah, I thought they must be 1.75 it doesnt look like it They do look a bit thin / strange I think i'll go for a more conventional size. Cheers lads.
