put some air in your tires  :-X   :LolLolLolLol:

not sure if it causes a problem like this but they do have to be fitted the right way round ,   :-\

my half link did stretch a little bit , not much probs about 1 maybe 2mm,  noticed as my tensioners are fixed so had to re make them , stretched over a couple of weeks use, since then it has not budged ,  its a gusset one but apparently is the same as the oddy branded one?  like the older chains there's got be a difference in quality between the brands?

old chains stretch out so can't see why half link ones don't

Some of em are pretty shite, what gearing are you running and on what frame?

Not all new school frames require a half link

A half link chain will stretch more than a standard chain due to the fact that each side link has a `z' bend in it, these try to pull straight under load.

Not just bike chains, I used to work in a materials handling company, we tried big, chunky half link chains on conveyors, as it would allow closer pitching in certain applications, but we sacked the idea due to stretching issues, and these were about 4 times bigger than bike chains!!

Its a YBN superlite 926 hollow pin and links

I am 25/9 gearing on a 2009 dirt bike frame

I only bought it because it was light and i thought you had to run a half link with 25/9

For the bike i am building at the mo i have got a kmc 710sl superlite. Might get another if it feels better than the half link
