Valuation Help Needed!
« on: May 05, 2013, 08:30 AM »
Ok Guys,

This isn't a 'for sale' thread, if it turns that way I will post up in the correct manner!

Sadly my friend and riding companion suddenly died on Easter Saturday due to a brain hemorrhage (RIP Ben = You are missed), Our hearts laid in the old skool camp and both have Streetbeats frames that got talked about building but never got there, but we rode new skool these days.

Ben's Gran who is dealing with his estate has contacted me on the best way of moving on his bikes as she has no idea and has pretty much given me the job.

So on the new/mid school stuff I have no idea and was wondering whether I could get some value ideas off those better educated than myself, it may come to a point I buy the job lot so she can clear the space and then look at moving it on.

He has/had -

A 'Rebel Metal Contender' Frame, with 'Purple Rain' Odyssey Lumber jack Bars, Wheels and Forks, GT Crank, WTP post and stem and Odyssey Headset. - I realise this may be worth parting out for the Purple Rain Parts? - It's a nice ride.

Mid School - Stone Volecrom Frame with McNeil Forks - No Components on this one.

And finally a 24" Cruiser - A WTP/Carharrt 'Murder City Nights' finished in chrome, barely looks ridden - Knowing Ben he probably bought it to just own it rather than really ride it!!

If anyone could point me in realistic valuation on these it would really be appreciated, for his Grans sake I would like to get this moving.

I can go back and get pictures if needed, took my camera but the battery died when I was there :tickedoff:

Thanks Guys

Jo
