I'm considering a black and blue build and was hoping folk could show anything that they've built similar.

Essentially it's a race build starting with a black frame and forks, the rest is a blank canvas. I know black and blue isn't a typical colour way, but perhaps that's the appeal...

Chris, I've tried a few times with this. You need to have plenty of blue in the decals and chuck chrome bars, poat and cranks at it would be my advice.

Got a black f&f with loads of blue in progress right now. If it looks poo I will have the f&f redone in white but it was supposed to be a budget build. .....

Spen, I was thinking blue rims, hubs, chainring, seat post clamp and grips with chrome bars, seat post and cranks and a black seat. The frame can only be black and the decals are plain white apart from the head tube decal which is primarily blue

Yeah, I think a black frame with blue parts would look pretty good but the balance is going to be tricky $:-\$

Fractured my skull in 6 places Chris and it still hurts now on cold days due to the plate holding it together. Yes, I was even better looking before, but chicks love scars.......

I'll dig out pics of the black frame with blue bits I did and get some of the one I'm working on when it's done

Just realised what this is Marty. That looks a million times better than the last time I saw it in a cold garage in Sheffield mate. .... stunning paint job

Yep, thats the one! Got some cracking decals from Del and am back in the groove for finishing the build over the winter
