Just landed home after spen's mystery tour, bit of a sore wrist but i can manage to hold my beer ok. Thanks Jim and Gra for sorting the private hire, decent park, some challenging bits, some way too big bits but as ever, we all found something to play on.
Made a good start to the night by having an excellent cup of tea made by the catering girl with the lovely personality. Highlights of the night were spen and ed's volcano terrorism to the sound of b.bumble and the stingers, jim's mighty launch to fail-whilst-celebrating and the masturbatory tips i got from Lentini and Munny. Will a tin of Pek have the same effect mark?
Anyhow, thanks all, especially to my chauffeur. Im sticking the feet up and watching World superbikes now.  :daumenhoch:

Before Ed starts,  Ben had a sore wrist from falling off his bike not paying for the lift I gave him :LolLolLolLol:

Mystery tours, terrible brews and the usual suspects fierce banter were just the start. 90 foot high drop in ramps and giant jump boxes didn't daunt our enthusiasm and we found a way to ride the park. And what a park it is.  Loved it.

Ed jumped the monster step up, Jim cleaned the floor after pulling air like it was his last breath. Ben defied gravity. Bill 360'd everything. Munny rode the 8' quarter like a man possessed.  Jol rode despite his massive Nottz stab wound.  Len talked his arse off and rode like a demon. Danny learnt to turn on the pipe and rode the little jump box like he grew up there. Me and Gra tried to figure how to get enough speed to clear obsticals we should be terrified of.

And I finally got the nerve to clear the baby volcano. If it was 4 foot high I'd be surprised but I did it all the same.

We may have a combined age of a thousand but we all gave it the full beanz and then some.

Top night. Roll on the 25th suspects :coolsmiley:

So who was that bloke that was the spitting image of you and had your bike then that was working the lines out round the park to get enough speed to try and jump that savage little table-top jump-box the wrong way then Gra ??? ::) >:D

Yeah, I thought it was you :2funny:

I know who'll be first over there next time we go, and it will definitely be you my friend :buck2: :coolsmiley:

Collected from my house by Mr Munn at 7 sharpish.

Introduced Mr Munn to the hounds of Goadby.

Easily fitted my bike in back of Mr Munns De Lorean  :)

Nice ride up to Donny chatting merrily with said Munn ... top quote "I want to Mansfield - its like the middle east... pound shops everywhere and kids eating corspes in the street' ( comments were then made that the situation in Mansfield had been quickly elevated by the examples used... pound shops then corpse eating ) many lols

Got mugged in a petrol station on the A1 - pack of 4 red bull £5 ... fine... Duo Boost and a Yorkie ... £2.77 FFS

Arrived at park and greeted the whippet handlers Gra & Jim... local ex Miners Spen & Ben also said things but they must make more effort to speak normal in Leicester as I didn't understand a lot and just smiled laughed and nodded all night... Spen seemed happy with that.

1st impressions on the park were not good. Len & Jol had not arrived ( they also strugged to find Coventry Station ) so I hoped they maybe ragged it off as it really wasn't their thing. Big tight trannies everywhere... and that was just Ben & Danny Robbo  :) lots packed in and pretty hard to ride straight off.

Never the less NosepickBen did just that and lead the charge by looking like he was born there in a few minutes and we all gamely trundled along behind.

Jol and Len arrived after a 'mission' and the tenseness of our first impressions quickly dispursed as we egged each other on to do shit we really didn't want to do, until we did it, then we did it lots more as it felt great. Jol was being cautious after being attacked by his bike.

My fav. moment was failing to jump a little transfer due to being gutless... then as I steadiled myself for another run NosepickBen gave me 'the nod'. It said 'Ed, this is it - DEATH or glory - dont puss out' ... and that was all in a nod. I felt energised and jumped the gap... happy days.

There was a period when I had really REALLY bad wind but that went by the time I had to get in the car.

Soon it was time to go home and it was almost sad to leave as it had turned into a proper nice ride out with a great atmosphere and some top encouragement to 'send it'.

Mr Munn then drove me home after a 'herbal' fag in the carpark.

Len and Jol went home via Carlisle  ::) wtf

Mr Munn complained about the rain a lot and kept starting conversations with a loud first line to stop me gawn sleep  ;D but I was home by 1.30.

Herbals & tea.
Bed.
