Quadangle colour combo
« on: April 22, 2013, 09:04 PM »
Some of you will have seen my Quadangle on the London rides or at MK12.

Had this Quad since 93, it was in a horrible spraybombed state when i got it so a make over was on the cards.
I always liked the SE's in Bad Boy blue and Camo so that was the only way it was ever gonna go (even though I found traces of the original candy red in the bb)
Fast forward 20 years and one makeover (in the same colour combo) and I'm having a change of heart  :-\

The components will stay as is, just want your input in its possible F&F colour change in the future

Cheers  :Great_Britain:  :daumenhoch:

White frame sets have always been my favourite but this will never be white with white forks John-Boy  8)

Personally Quads look well painted with a lively colour on or at least alternate frame and fork colours  :coolsmiley:

, because they haven't any significant frame decals (bar the headtube really) to  add a different splash of colour  ::)

I did a black Quad and was little dissapointed , thought it didn't bring the frame to life  :-\

Whereas a black  PK Ripper looks awesome with some  big ol' gold downtube decals   ::).

I think Baby blue Quads are the  :coolsmiley:

but if you really fancy a change ,, I voted white with brown forks and gold decals  ;)

It's irrelevant really Steve as you haven't got time to be pouncing around with your bikes when my VDC needs building.  :D ;D

When you have finished that you can paint your Quad white.  :daumenhoch:

I built a PK a few years back with those tyres, on a white frameset. For an idea maybe:

If I go with the current vote results it will be a very cheap makeover.

I'll just put it back in the rack where it was
