1-1/8" threadless forks, aheadset and external clamp stems - wtf were we all thinking with those 1" threaded fookin quill-stemed nightmares :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2:

(I have two sets of Odyssey Director forks and they are astonihingly strong yet only 860g - my favourite n/s part)

Sealed berings in everything - again, wtf were we doing with looseball hubs and BB's....... :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2:
Still limping......

All great kit,not the most expensive, all apart from beartrap, tnt shafted stem would work well on N/S bikes :daumenhoch:

I can 100% agree with that

Even with my NFL Pony Trainers  :daumenhoch:
I might actually build a bike this year instead of just hoarding parts :)

76' Webco Ultimate frame & Webco rectangular forks

my 1st cro-mo frame set.I raced this heavy & rode it even heavier in pools, street riding, lake jumps, cliff jumps, ghost riding, etc & kept this bike as a thrasher & abused it for years.
It only ever sustained a small crack in the smallest part of one side of the frame gusset. The forks were killer also & were fooking indestructable!
Lasted longer than any frameset to date!

Amazing F&F combo! Anyone got either or both for sale?  :LolLolLolLol:

Haro number plates
Redline pro line v-bars
Powerwing bars
Mathauser finned brake shoes
Phil Wood hubs
D.I.D chains
Suntour MP1000's
Oakley grips & goggles
Shimano DX pedals & posts
DC twinbolt clamps
Grab on grips for those high to flat landings & having loadsa replacable parts.
Redline 401's
Kashi mx's
Redline Brute stems

suzue sealed hubs , never needed any maintenance , wer'nt " fancy " but were cheap and they worked
kashimax aero , everyone had one admit it  ;D
DX pedals - best pedal - everyone had them
DK stem - very strong and never slipped
comp III's - was there any other tyre in the 80's?
early GT santa ana pro bars , great shape and very light
redline 401's - have to admit never could afford these BITD
AME rounds , used these for years untill i went onto ODI longnecks
rims has got to be 7x's , had a few sets , not unbendable but tough enough

also late 80's GT race stem with dimples ( great stem - stiff and no slips )
