A'me grips

Just took these off that 84 kuwi supernova I got last year.. Can't believe how mint they are..think the bird shit helped preserve them..
They have made in the USA on the outside of the flange.
Are new ones any different.. Or are the new ones actually NOS?

The logo on the new ones are a totally different font.Only the early ones like yours have the bubble font

They are what people refer to as 'bubble font',
earlier than the latest version of the reissue A'me rounds which has a square font.

As Damo and Steve already said ,,,,Bubble font is the indication of genuine 80's A'me grips  

Modern repop Rounds and Tri's they make now ,are made from the later  font moulds they used in the later 90's


But aren't the Modern day A'me Cam repops bubble font logo too as the originals  ,,,,,, because they're  made from the moulds  from the early 80's

Sorry with the Cams it's a bubble font,,,,, but lower case , as you've correctly pointed out  

What I was saying was     , the repop are indistinguishable from the  original because they use the original 80's moulds   unlike the Tri's and Rounds
