I would like silver for a particular build so thought I would strip these:
But now I cant bring myself to do it!! They sort of look good on it in a kind of unexpected way...! What would you do...?!

Becuase you want bushed finish you can get a set of "used" cages and lightly linish them to give you a "NOS" look

Could you not just breath on them allowing the color change to occur momentarily so you can see how they look ... corrosion and mold might be an issue tho..
