Talking BMX at work
« on: March 22, 2013, 12:46 PM »
Talking to my new manager last night and conversation turns to BMX. He tells me he sold a fully loaded Skyway TA to somebody in Bournemouth. Then goes on to say he's from Dartford and used to go Gillingham, Buckmore Park, Dartford and many others that I forget the names of right now. Whilst talking he mentions he raced a PK Ripper and was something to do with OT Cycles. So question is do any of you who rode and raced  Gillingham, Buckmore Park, Dartford know a guy called Billy Lee?
Also said he has a lot of BMX magazines in his parents loft.

Like Bob said, the name doesnt ring a bell.  I'm sure a kid called billy eastwood raced on the OT cycles team...Plus there were a couple of lads that worked in the East Hill shop during the heyday.  Possible he could be one of them!
