Old school bikes have the larger US bottom bracket ,modern bikes have Euro bottom brackets much smaller and they screw in :daumenhoch:

Neither.A sealed BB for a 1 pc crank is a standard size, approx 23.8mm.The BB in your link is a bog standard unsealed jobbie.

ok would this fit in an 83 ta frame ?   .....    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/USA-CRUISER-OPC-BOTTOM-BRACKET-SET-FOR-CRUISER-BIKES-EARKY-MTB-WITH-OPC-BB-SET-/181099868375?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item2a2a64b0d7 ,

Yes but the seller does not state if it is a 24tpi or 28tpi thread and that would depend on what your cranks are.

that will be a 24tpi crank so best ask the seller what his bb thread is.
