SOFT SCRUB
« on: March 08, 2013, 10:16 AM »
I have been reading alot of material about whitening stuff lately as I have a pair of white ally hubbed tuffs which have gone a little yellow which I would like to be a bit whiter as they sit on a nos frame and forks.I was going to go down the aquablasting route but having seen the recent pics am a bit unsure.I think I would like to try a less intrusive method first.I was reading some bits on the museum and people are talking about a product called soft scrub which seems to produce good results on white tuffs.Does anyone know what this product is,and what it is made for?are there any equivelents available in the U.k?Any help appreciated

Seen good results with this over on the museum but the uv or strong sunlight is a must for decent results  :daumenhoch:

If you have a set of those acorns from bankrupt bike bits i think they are unsalvagable!!I had a pair in bleach for 2 weeks with no change in colour!I don't think they have faded with time,I reckon they were seconds! :-\
