I've been talking to S&M for a while about getting a new frame. They are always very busy and I dont hear from them very often.
(They have real customers to deal with first.

)
Yesterday Stodgy sent me a photo he saw in Instagram a few weeks ago that I'd not seen.
Looks like everything I asked for is on there:

ATF frame,
Enclosed dropouts
Chainstay brake mounts (welded)
Pitchfork XLTs with brake mounts and enclosed dropouts

Cant wait for it to get here now

I tried to get this frame as "stock" as I could so I got a normal ATF lengh rear end (13.4"-13.875"). Its still a bit longer than most current frames so I thought I'd give it a go. There might be something in this short-back-end thing. Having said that, those dropouts look like they have a lot of movement in them so if I put the wheel at the back it might end up being 14" back end again anyway. I'll have to see when it gets here

I've got a 20" t/t ATF I'm in the process of building up as a flat bike. I'd like an Intrikat but need to sell stuff to afford One!

ive asked moeller about doing a custom wtf for me, they dont currently do them as customs just a off the shelf version

may have to badger him some more when im ready to get one

I think this one is my 11th (main rider) S&M. So thats about one every 2 years.

Nice frame, think it could do with a bit of masking tape (the new Tin-Foil) tho' .

Do you think S&M would do a custom but with a 10" standover ?

They dont seem to mention standover in their custom section.

Thinking about trying to get a custom to look as close to a 90's Dirtbike as poss.

Any advice appreciated Top Man.

Len - you should ask them to knock you up a special custom that takes an 18" rear wheel, that way you could really slam the back end and go for maximum tailwhippage

no geo changes just want brake mounts on the wtf forks, maybe welded chainstay mounts and gyro tabs

the tabs are easy enough to do myself but the mounts id rather s&m did for warrenty reasons

you know my luck with brake mounts
