Is'nt the HLT more a blue black than just a black chrome though...There was a member on here a good while ago that had managed to replicate the finish but he's not around now.

The HLT is definitely a blue/black and the Pro-Class is a brown/black finish.

I replicated the Pro-Class finish a long time ago, using tinted clearcoat from a local car paint dealers.  The original Pro-Class frames were tinted clearcoat over chrome.

Do you have any photos or a link to photos of the bikes finish?

Looks sweet Stidds, was it a rattle can of tinted clear coat or did you have it mixed up by a paint shop?

I had it mixed up by a paint shop, I went in and basically messed around until the shade I wanted was produced.

As stated at the beginning of this thread, Mark at Imprezive finishes in Darlimgton did both my ProClass f&f's and the colour was bang on. He does all the Burnerworld forum lads gold and smoke chrome finishes so has been doing it a while now. If you look in me and my bikes under my name both my ProClass bikes are in there.

The Minigoose was done by Neil who got the HLT finish done but he's not into BMX anymore and last timeno spoke to him he wasn't taking n paint work either unfortunately...... ;-(
