NOS 2 Hip Big Boy
« on: February 27, 2013, 12:11 AM »
My gorgeous, NOS, chrome 2 Hip Big Boy arrived today complete with an original 2 Hip box and US newspaper! ;D

This is my first NOS mid school bike ever!  :daumenhoch:

Now I'm in two minds. Do I build her or hang her on the wall?  :-\

I'd love to kit her out in quality parts and take her out for blast but she's so clean and perfect I don't want to ruin her!  :LolLolLolLol:

Yeh, I saw that, thanks Neil. Very useful.  :daumenhoch:

I'm sure I'll build her, I'm just not going to rush this one so I can admire her for longer in the front room!  ;) Everything's going to have to be minty minty to go on this build!  8)

I've got one more old school freestyler arriving very shortly and once that's built I can give all my attention to the Big Boy.  :4_17_5:

So....sell it me then biatch and I will show you what should be done to it  >:D

I'm just worried you wouldn't know how to ride a bike made after 1988 Terry!  :LolLolLolLol:

Must admit I'm quite nervous about building this one. It's got to be spot-on with a frame set this nice and I'm not quite sure what parts to use.  :-\

I'd like to use as much 2 Hip stuff as I can so I definately want some Juice Bars, Dank pegs and inverted Vice stem. After that, I'm not too sure. More than likey, I'll have a Z77 seat, Boa up front with 990 on the rear. Tech 77 or 99 levers with some sort of ODI grips and a Gyro.   ;)

Still stuck on what wheels, cranks and pedals to use though?  :-[

I'm not going to rush finish this though. I'm going to wait for the right parts to turn up (and get some money!) and build 'lesser' bikes in the mean time to keep me busy!  :LolLolLolLol:

Build it build it build it
I get the feeling everyone wants me to build this!  ;)

I have juice bars on my one. I'm still not sure if I like them or not.  :LolLolLolLol:
I think I will decide when it's finished. :)

I really like those frames  :daumenhoch: Araya or Sun 48's with a 1 piece crank would be cool, or could go for Profile/GT cranks & Peregrine 48's if it's a big money build.
Do you grovel to your master? Do you beg like a dog?
