im of the view you snooze you loose more and more people are dibbing for friends, friends of friends, and people who know of someone who born on the same planet, i thinks its out of order when some one reads a thread and cant get what he/she want as been dibbed, then 9 times out of 10 the fookers dont want it anyway

Personally I think that the seller should state if he's not willing to accept dib dobs for friends/temporary dib dobs, this conversation came up a couple of weeks ago.

Most people just want a straight sale, or might be looking to fund something else with their sales so if the temporary dib doesnt amount to anything, then it potentially means that lots of people will walk away and not come back.

But then there is always the 2nd dib posts that give you back up

for me dibbing for others is not right, first and second dib dobs is the way it should be

I'm not saying it's correct and i don't like the idea.

But why did members jump on the temp dibber on the goose sale thread when its done daily on other sale threads and nothing's been said about it.

Also this has been covered in another thread on here about 1 month ago

I don't do dib dobs if you notice . Causes to much friction . Always been first come via pm first served . Fastest finger first .

i think it can spoil a sellers thread as it does put some off second dibbing

my point is still that this defo ain't the first time it's been temp dib's

but from what i can recal it's the first time someone has been slated for it, why now and not on the other's

i think diibbing for a pal is acceptable
i would wear it,if i was selling something
but if that aint your bag,no probs
up to the seller really aint it

absolutely. there are many instances of Rad users doing this for each other (please see the threads below) and yet I get it in the neck when the guy even had a wanted thread...

I made the mistake of dibbing something for someone who had put up a 'wanted' ad for a bike. Look at the decade for sale thread.....

The reason I don't like it is coz I've got no friends so no fooker dib dobs anything for me!! All my mates have a life and don't collect kids bikes!!

a) I'm not miserable, I am actually quite a happy person
b) I have lots to do, I am actually sat here working and have been all evening and just checking Rad every now and then
c) he did want it, he had a 'wanted' advert up

You spotted something someone wanted and they came and paid promptly no messing about

Don't let a bit of bleating put you off

Thing about not using dib dobs is that then multiple people can end up paying at once and before you know it there's a behind the scenes auction going on which could disrupt the space/time continuum and make the earth spin off its axis and plunge into the sun
