Anno and Chrome parts

If you put a brake caliper in an Oxy Acid Bath, with mixed annodize and chrome parts on it.  Would the Oxy Acid affect the anno part?

If it were a stem that you are doing I would be tempted to do it in a bucket with a bar through the stem. Leaving the shaft dangling over the bucket then fill the oxy acid/water so it covers the shaft.

At least that way u shouldn't fook up the alloy.

Thats what I'm worried about is the alloy going to corrode.

i put a set of 400's in the OA overnight, didn't harm the spider at all

Excellent news. Throw the whole lot in.

do it    take plenty of before , during (at different times ) and of course after pics ...... that way good or bad we can all share your outcome

it didn't touch the spider (which had no chrome left on it ,so bare alloy) & I always like my 'stews' strong, so extra OA in there too

I'll leave it in for a month and see what happens
