What tyres did people use for racing

if you look at some of the mid 90's sale ads at shops you will get an idea
a lot of things that were older were still being sold and used mate

primo V track tyres are nice and chunky.

Mid 90's race tyres were all about the following:

Comp III
GT Magabite
GT AA Pro

There were other options out there like Haro Comp III style tyres, and Mongoose had a few options as well. Redline even had their own stuff in the catalogues, but aside from putting it on their completes I didnt see many folks using them. The best of the lot were the first 3 I mentioned.

My build already has a black dirt monster on the front so ill see if I can find one for the back it'll save me a few quid ,and I do like them dirt monsters

Didnt see many using Dirt Monsters TBH, 99% were on Comp 3's

I had panaracer smoke and dart tyres on my GT in 97 and also used GT Megabites and Richey Megabites abit later on.
