Can someone explain how to get the best out of polishing... what brushes do you use etc.

I can never seem to get the fine scratches out  :-\

Use fine wet'n'dry in soapy water . . . I use 1000 and 2000 grade to get silky smooth results before polishing

Patience is a virtue . . . spend more time preparing with fine wet'n'dry to achieve better results in the polishing stages

Yep, afraid so . . . start preparing with 600 or 800 wet'n'dry (in soapy water) finishing off with a sheet of 1000 or 2000

i do all my polishing by hand (oo er missus)

then final buff on the pillar drill with a polishing mop in it.







never rush the prep work if you want a good job...work your way thru the grits on wet and dry and the soapy water is a good tip....

Not long really . . . that stem had been painted with spray paint which came off real easy with Nitromors


I do all my polishing by hand too and in most cases I don't use a mop . . . just good old Autosol on a soft cloth

Here's a Pro Neck I've not long finished too . . .
