Remember teh HPV racing in and around 87/88?

Hutch Hanebrink HPV - dont think I'd fancy racing this with caliper brakes!

A shade over £500 for that rare super cool   piece of BMX (related) History  :shocked:

I've always fancied building and racing a GPV bike but the roads are too dangerous over here.

My Mum's house is near the top of a mile long hill

we used to invert our bars ( into a drop down position and ride with your feet on the rear pegs

Like the BMX Action feature except we kept the cranks in

(Like the guy in 3rd with the blue helmet on )

What sort of money do those Hutch tyres fetch nowadays?  They seem to be in good order.   :coolsmiley:

Akways been a fan of the old series..and we all know who started the racing off don't we  ::) hmmm thinking about it I'm sure he mentioned to me he has some cool original stuff I can have  ;)

Well they were 1988 , so wouldn't expect any American pre 85 stuff  Ti/mag bits

Mostly Taiwan " Hi caliber " parts bin ,,if anything

I think it's just Hutch by name,,,, as the frame ,forks, bars, cranks, seat etc are non Hutch ,,

only looks like the Tyres and pedals are,,,,, at first glance  :)

Would be cool to try some of these races at MK from the top of the entrance road down to the burger van  :daumenhoch:
