Well since my wife buying me the frame and forks as a xmas pressie
it's finally done (for now)
turned out better than expected with the mix of what you can still get and what you can mix with it but still keep the 1980's feel, mxII F&F powdercoated white with the vbars, nos suntour copy stem, re issue mx1000 brake set with dc cable frame clips, white tuf pad type brake blocks, retro 36 spoke wheels (fat and thin tyre combo) of a new retro ripper & seat, re issue dc seatclamp, renthal post, dk crank, victor beartraps, sugino spider and 44 ring, generic red/metal chain, chrome freewheel, sharp bb boot, sst dirt skirt originally gold but airfix gloss red paint works wonders, landar headlock, ame grips and flite jumbo donuts. oh and not forgeting the absolutely brill padset from the padmaster and dice caps from another well known rad member.
all in all well chuffed
