Kuwahara ET prices
« on: February 12, 2013, 06:24 PM »
Peeps,

I would love to add a Kuwie ET to my small horde of OSBMXs, but I have seen them on eBay at mahoooosive prices!  :idiot2:

What should one expect to pay for super minty survivor / restored ETs?  ???

Is there a big difference between the prices for the high end and low end models (not the Apollo ones, but the one with slopey stem and steel wheels instead of Sugino Stem and Ukais)?

Just wondering whether I should kill the dream now or let it blossom!  ;)

Thanks,

Clean.  :coolsmiley:

i've seen boxed ones go pass £2000+ and lower ones go around £600

but it will all depend on the one that turns up and what it is like ? price will be all over the shop  :D

what have you got to spend ?  :D

Apollo it is then  :daumenhoch:

What.... at these prices:  :idiot2:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/kuwahara-BMX-E-T-BIKE-30-PLUS-YEARS-1982-/130849931336?pt=AU_Sport_Cycling_Bikes&hash=item1e77438048#ht_500wt_1414

Didn't take me long to answer my own question!   :'(

Oh, and Devilock..... I can't find a Tange Hot Heart for love nor money, and if I could, I would keep the heart intact; the missus has demanded I source one.  :smitten:

In fact, she has promised to join us at a Northern Wobble if I build her one, so probably just as well they are rocking horse sheeyat!  :LolLolLolLol:

So..... back to the drawing board. If only I had bought that mint survivor Laserlight that Dan had up - Swiv swiped it as a "rider"!  :tickedoff:

Dont forget this one Rich-   http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271138971713'ssPageName=STRK:MESINDXX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1436.l2649

 ;)

You just broke my heart!  ;D

...... And that is the low end model! I wonder what an equivalent top spec model would fetch?  :wtf:

Re-mortgage anyone? I am not convinced any kids' bile commands that sort of money, even if you wipe your arse on tenners......

Build your own and send it to Chip @ C4 for a pukka powder job.   :daumenhoch:

In all seriousness, did you see the state of what he sent back to Costa?   :police:  Can't find the thread but it was pretty bad.   :knuppel2:
