Evening all thought ill do a little write up on my Dyno that im currenenty restoring to former glory
Now i know that the Dyno's i own i hardly iconic BUT to me they mean quite a lot, growing up in the 90's it was the first bmx i ever wanted, my dad went one step futher and bought me a pro performer but still the dyno is what started it all off for me.
A few years back i used to ride on quite a serious scale, 14 til 19 but i started driving and sorted faded off the scene a bit and then had a little boy so been wrapped up with it all.
However Ive just finished building my new bmx and im just waiting for the weather to pick up a bit so i can get back on it....
In the mean time ive got 2 gt dynos to fiddle with, 1 1998 Dyno zone off a friend for free, and 1 1999 dyno comp that i won on ebay earler and just picked up.
Ive began restoring the zone and going to clean the comp up so the misses can join in the fun if she wishes to!!!
Not many big plans for the comp, just a general tidy up and a set of mag wheels for a bit of a older stylish look, its got every part on it that was put on it in the factory soo i plan to leave it that way
The zone ive began to get a bit upsessed with ive spent some money on it now and i keep itching to spend more!!!
Enough of my life story heres some pic's, unfortantly none of the new one yet im in the process of loading them onto my laptop
Soo heres as i recived her from my mate
And i soon got to stripping her and got her to bare frame
Then i removed the stickers and polished the chrome up And this is as she currnelty sits
Ive recently purchased a Dyno style plastic seat, new chrome headset, a chrome dyno stem from the 80's, Primo grips, And a Blue brake cable
Plans are to buy a new chrome sprocket, chrome dyno or simler forks, chain, Blue mag wheels and possibly a number board.
pictures of the zone to follow
