Ukai rims - help needed
« on: February 04, 2013, 10:04 PM »
Got a pair of Ukai 20 x 1.5 rims. Comp 3 20 x 1.75 tyres fit the rims okay I am told but struggling with inner tubes. Got a couple of old 20 x 1.75/2 knocking about but cant get the blighters on the wheels and then for the tyres over the top.

Am I going to need to get 20 x 1 1/8 tubes?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers Devilock. Will have another try then. Perhaps it needs more than two arms to do it.

Have you expelled enough air?

Got them as flat as I can get them, but no joy.

Also had a go with some air in them and still no joy.  :tickedoff:

I always have a little air in the tubes and then fit with them inside the tyres starting where the Schrader fits through the rim...

Got new tubes and they went in straight away no problem. Christ knows what those things were that were in there.

Thanks for your time all.
