Told you so, told you so  :LolLolLolLol:
Only joking.
The muppet did exactly the same to me, and then he proceeded to send, and charge me, 2 more headsets which were no good.
I bought some shims from somewhere, but I cannot remember for the life of me where I got them. I think it was a mountain bike shop on the tintereweb. They solved the problem, so you can use a standard 1" headset in the 1 1/8" frame.
Sorry I can't be more specific.
I will have a look and let you know if I come up with anything.

Oh, by the way, I may have a trade if you are interested, but my 1 1/8" forks are black I'm afraid.

i have waited 8 weeks for a frame, on half a dozen occasions.

i have never had an item not show up though!!!

just one of those things i guess

the other 99% of stuff i have bought from guys on here has turned up quick with no problems though

radbmx is the best place to buy.
perhaps not the best place to make a greedy profit (although people do try), but most reliable in terms of sellers.

OK - here's where to get headset shims - wiggle.co.uk and billys.co.uk - they are Id HEadset Reducers [by Ison Distribution] and they fit inside your 1.18" headtube to make it accept 1" headset cups.
