Could wheely do with some elp!
« on: January 31, 2013, 03:49 PM »
So, just got my first new school frame, a nice Mutiny Lucky Strike V3.5 but it's got 10mm rear dropouts and I'm struggling to find a decent wheelset for it. I haven't really got the cash for a custom wheel build.

Any ideas?

I would ring Stodgy at the Radshop or Steve at Lifer and see what they can do for your budget.

I have seen deals on BSD and Deluxe cassette hubs with 10mm bolts :daumenhoch:

Have you checked what the maximum chainring size your frame will take? If it can handle maybe a 36t you could get away with a flipflop hub and a 13t cog which will prob be cheaper than a cassette hub.

Cheers for advice guys.
I'll give Stodgy a bell... if not, those Deluxe hubs ain't bad for the dollar.
Might be able to find cheaper on the bay

thanks again
