It is a scary prospect. Radman's stuff made really strong money when he sold up a few years ago when it looked like the market was at it's peak. Might have made a few quid more if he'd hung onto it as prices are still climbing for pukka stuff like what he had.

it would be extremely difficult to know if these were 80's ones or not unless you had another pair to compare it too.............. $:-\$

Not quite true, these were a bargain, expected them to go for a lot more. I know they're a mismatch but it wouldn't notice on a show bike.

I think fuel prices are outragous as they affect me, VDC bars do not.

I thought about putting a post up the other day regarding recession.......what recession!! I was watching those bars and couldn't believe it when they reached 500bucks, let alone 700

I was watching a set of NOS blue DC MX 1000 calipers, levers and cables went for over 300, i saw a NOS Tange 125 h/set in black which i really need to finish off a build, the guy listed it at a start price of £165, no one took the bait, i emailed & offered what i thought was a fair price(he declined), then puts it up for a BIN listing for £159.99 & it gets snapped up.

I've built 3 Haro's & a Reflex as show ponie's(although one of the haro's is a rider) in just over a 3yr period of collecting & i'm glad that i'm calling it a day & not building any more bikes. Though i did just win a sweet condition Extra Burner(same model i had back in the day)

off egay 2 day's ago & will be picking it up this saturday. That will bring my collection to full circle, the bike i had as a teenager to the bikes i could never afford(still can't now if i'm trueful).

Now, who wants a 'show chromed' mint as a minty thing CW Racing 'braced' layback seat post for £275
