DELRAY and Sawzall
« on: January 28, 2013, 10:17 PM »
I know he has had some bad press of late, and a few have jumped on the band wagon to slate him, but when I was in real shit and had to sell up most of my stuff, he took the forks from my beloved PL20. I know its been nearly two years but I got a parcel today from a certain mr sawzall who was given my forks to repair by Andy. I got home from work this evening to a parcel conatining my forks, fully repaired

Thanks Andy, hope things will get better for you now mate.
Oh and Phil, fook me mate, ive heard you were good, but them dropout repairs are a work of art :smitten:

He needs a heater in his garage, i was over Phils for about 4hrs on Sunday repairing drop outs with him. freakin freezin, when he was grinding some of the welds down flat i was cupping my hands over the sparks to get warmth.

Some people really don't understand what goes in to repairing a drop out, it sounds easy, it aint though.
One build a year, the only way to get it right. No rushing involved.
