Trigger's Broom lives again!
« on: January 28, 2013, 08:05 PM »
So my trusty Felt is now on its 4th pair of forks, courtesy of MATTFX81, also front wheel changed after even my trusty LBS gave up on trying to get it straight  :uglystupid2:
Let's see if these Pitchforks can do the job :daumenhoch:

To be honest the first pair aren't broken, just heavy and very tatty, others are fooked.
No, forks are bang on, just bike at a funny angle on a slope going R to L and me stood at an angle as well :daumenhoch:

The Redline forks were cos of a bad crash at speed at the 1st national at the indoor last year, the SEs were normal use for a big lump of an Old Skooler, ie manuals just not clearing the 2nd double etc plus even the new fitter me is 16.5 stone...

Really good until the snow and ice came, right enjoying riding a 20" that fits though I'll never be the smoothest rider. I think I'll still race cruiser in the regionals (not fit enough to race both) cos I'm way more stable but I'll race the 20 at club races, Brits etc and take it skateparks as my regular fun bike :daumenhoch:

Careful in the skate parks mate, it's not just the bikes that get broken in those places.

We've done no riding at all up here for weeks. The weather's been terrible.
