If he doesn't end it before the 12hr deadline, it will go to the end of the auction as there are bids on it   ;D

No charge for ending early....but if he does leave it running with less than 12 hours to go then he wont be able to stop the auction and Ebay will charge him 10% of the final value as a fee.

Ebay usually take out their money that has been charged to your account, on or around the 17th of each month so if he doesnt have funds in his paypal to cover the fee, they will take it straight from his bank  :LolLolLolLol:

Which probably will happen as it will take over a week for him to get a credit for a non payment  :LolLolLolLol:
